reflections

dream waves

there you are
looking good as always
smiling so big
ear to ear

i hope you’re having a good time
shining in the sun’s rays
eyes twinkling
so unaware

oh, i should’ve known
you’d be my best memory
you’d be the one
haunting my dreams

those nights we spent alone
dream after dream
the stars dancing on the water
smelling the ocean breeze
feeling everlasting love
looking at you and thinking
yea, you’re what im dreaming of

seeing you now
looking like you dont see me
playing hide and seek
how you pretend

dont say you forgot
those nights in the moonlight
lips, love, touchin
skin on skin

those nights we spent alone
dream after dream
the stars dancing on the water
smelling the ocean breeze

hearing the waves crashing in
heart beats closer
than they’ve ever been
goosebumps and sweat
everything i felt
now i pretend

i should’ve known
you’d be my best memory
you’d be the one
haunting my dreams

feeling everlasting love
looking at you now and thinking
what were you scared of

they say to of loved and lost is better than to have never loved at all...is that the same for writing? to of wrote and never be read is better than to never have wrote at all??? and so here are my writings for all the world to see....love is a universal language, and im sure my heartaches and joys are shared by millions of people everyday, so hopefully you relate to what i have felt. "I was regretting the past and fearing the future. Suddenly God was speaking, "My name is 'I am'". I waited. God continued, "When you live in the past, with its mistakes and regrets, it is hard. I am not there. My name is not 'I was.' When you live in the future, with its problems and fears, it is hard. I am not there. My name is not 'I will be.' When you live in this moment, it is not hard. I am here. My name is 'I am.' As seen on the kitchen wall of Saint Benedict´s Monastery. Who is SheRocks??? Just a gurl who has been through the ups and downs of love and then some :-) These are some of the writings I have written throughout the years, and continually writing.
